Emerging Mythical characters Radha-Krishna to present time

This blog is based on thinking activity given by Yesha ma'am to represent very famous mythical characters in present time.

Our Hindu tradition has given huge legacy to us. It is being helpful us in everyday life. We can see so many Warriors, Gods, Saints, and other characters, who are giving us a way of life through their deeds. These characters are providing us courage, message of Love, and Unity. We are taking all Ancient Myths as a learning tool and tries to implement or tell to implement those thoughts in our life. Though all those Myths give message of Morality, at the same time there are lots of disputes take place which led us to think deeply about it.

One of these is Radha-Krishna. If we look at it symbolically, the couple ia symbol of Love. We are evn giving metaphor of Ragha-Krishna. Both were deep lovers. We are still remembering not only Krishna for his message of Gita, and as a God, but Radha also as his companion. Both are Presented in myth as deep lover and we can say that that's why both are remembered together as one.

For this thing i want to two questions. One is If HInduism is praying Radha-Krishna, both as a couple, though they never got married, then why Love Before marriage is not at all accepted. If they are praying Radha-Krishna, then they have to respect and accept those lovers and also have to understand their Love.

When we raise this kind of question, people who are connected with the tradition in believer of lord Krishna, they try to avoid it by useless arguments. Krishna got married to Rukmani, not Radha. There are many disputes connected with these stories. There are lots of fables to prove that Radha and Krishna god married. like,

Rukmani was second form of radha. and that's how they were married. But we can not agree with this tell  because somewhere we can find that Radha got married to other person. So it's quite disputable.

My second question is that, Why society only want Krishna, not Radha. If someone- I Mean a boy having girlfriend or girlfriends, society will adress him as Krishna, because Krishna had love affair with Radha and used to do Rasleela with Gopis.

But when a girl has any kind of relation with a boy, it is not at all acceptable. she is not addressed as Radha, But Characterless or even Shameless. Nowadays, our so called religious Gurus and so called Civilized people are admitting that Western effect or Social medias are making society bad and virtueless, or even immoral. But at that point we must think taht for whom they are telling it,- Obviously about girls, to defend patriarchy. If we will try to give them an answer of this, they will start counter argue with us in a vain.

The bollywood movie, Bajirao-Mastani has all kinds of similarities with the story of Radha-Krishna. Both are lovers like them and also known as Bajirao-Mastani, together. i really like onr dialogue of the wife of Bajirao, Kashi,

Bajirao asks, क्यू?

Kashi replies,

So in the pain of Kashi we can easily reflection of Rukmani. Even in our time if a Married man is still connected with his ex-girlfriend, other relation or have extra marrital affair, we can imagine how much pain and could be there in the heart of his wife, who is completely devoted to her husband.

In society we are having only few couple who were first and love and then get married. Rather we have mostly arrange marriages, I am not telling all are like but in majority there is only adjustment, no more than that to increase family.

For third question I first would like to present some lines written in Gujarati,

These lines portray that there was meanness in love of Krishna somewhat. He never met Radha after living Gokul not even for his love. Though he was loving Radha ardently, there was no break up, he never turned back. So people are taking is as, boys may have lots of girlfriends, doesn't mean he will have to marry to that girl. There is another line in Gujarati which is perfectly suitable for grief and deep pain and also yearning of Radha for Krishna.

વાંસળી થી વિખુટો પડેલો એક સૂર ઢૂંઢે છે કદંબની ડાળ,

મારગ ને ઢંઢોળી ઢંઢોળી પૂછે માધવ ને દીઠો ક્યાંય?

Now we become conscious about feminism. Everyone are talking about it. But I want to put that thing also aside because sometimes it is considered as feminism stands for superiority for women. By example of Radha Krishna we can at least establish equality. Yes. It is also the case that most of the girls wants fluttering from boys, they want that boys will admire their beauty. And Gopis present the same concept, Krishna was not telling them to come to him forcefully, they were coming at their own. By these arguments, I just want that if our society accept Radha-Krishna, Gopis, then why not the similar person to them. Then we should not judge people who are somewhat as same as our God.

We have to select both not particular one, if Krishna, then Radha and Gopis also.

We are told that Krishna gave message to Arjun about the real concept of life through Geeta, but we sometimes can't even imagine that the one who has given message of Geeta can ever do such things with Radha or Rukmini.

Put all this disputes and questions aside, we would find that Radha-Krishna both are primordial example of Love. Though they never got married, they are remember together as Radha-Krishna, which shows importance of Love in human life.

Thank you
